Floating Wetland 8 Raft Cluster
This system allows 8 rafts to be attached with quick snap-hook rope tethers. You can launch and anchor 8 rafts at once, saving time and labor. Only 4-8 man-hours are required to place plants in the rafts, tether the rafts to the Tethering Ring and launch all 8. As there are 192 potted plants in the system, it is a very efficient way to add plants to a pond -- less than 2.5 minutes per plant. A good rule of thumb is 8 full-size (48" x 54") Floating Economy Wetland Rafts per 1/4 acre. It is highly recommended that the Floating Wetlands be used in conjunction with bottom diffuser aeration (see Aeration section) to multiply the rafts' nutrient-uptake ability. The foliar biomass should be removed at the end of the growing season to reduce pond pollution. The rafts and plants can be shipped directly to your installation site via our trucks or common-carrier. The complete system includes... 8-Full Size Economy Wetland Rafts w/6" pots and tether hardware, 8-Plant Collections for the Rafts and 1-Tether Ring with snap-hook tethers. The Floating Wetlands are available with and without plants. Any Floating Wetland Raft can be used on the Tether Ring.
